The Nike Dunk Low “Michigan” is the low-top version of an original Dunk colorway worn by the Michigan Wolverines basketball team in 1985. The “Michigan” first appeared in 1985’s “Be True to Your School” collection of college basketball inspired Dunks. The Varsity Maize and Midnight Navy design was brought back in September 2020 on the Dunk High. This low-top silhouette of the retro basketball model follows the same style cadence as the original and high-top edition. Varsity Maize leather appears on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel, collar, and heel. Contrasting Midnight Navy leather panels on the upper break up the look. A navy blue Swoosh graces either side of the shoe and yellow “Nike” embroidery is stitched onto the heel. Blue shoe laces are layered over the Varsity Maize nylon tongue. The Nike Dunk Low “Michigan” is an iconic colorway of the retro basketball, skateboarding, and lifestyle shoe. Release date: April 16, 2021.
