Rivalry Low ’86 “The Simpsons – Treehouse Of Horrors”

The Simpsons x adidas Rivalry Lo ‘86 “Treehouse of Horror” is a special edition of the retro basketball shoe inspired by Hugo, Bart Simpson’s long lost twin brother. Released for Halloween 2023, the Rivalry Lo ‘86 “Treehouse of Horror” celebrates the relationship between Bart and Hugo, the former’s evil brother who made his first appearance in “The Simpsons” during the “Treehouse of Horror VII” episode from 1996. As the story goes in the special Halloween episode, Bart was actually born as conjoined twins with Hugo before Marge and Homer made the difficult decision to separate the two children following violent outbursts by Hugo. Here, adidas shows love to the character by dressing the Rivalry Lo in an orange, yellow, and blue color scheme inspired by Hugo’s tattered clothes. An embroidered detail on the medial side of the mid-panel is inspired by the twins’ incision and subsequent stitch scars. But was Hugo really the evil twin? Release date: October 2023
