The Nike Air Max 1 “Athletic Department – Deep Royal Blue” is a colorway of the retro sneaker with a decidedly vintage design. The upper has a white textile base with a light tan felt overlay on the mid-panel. A Deep Royal Blue synthetic nubuck mudguard and Swoosh add a pop of color to the shoe’s design. Fir-colored Swoosh branding is embroidered on the lateral side of the forefoot, and Fir “Nike Air” branding is embroidered on the heel. Underfoot is an aged-looking cream white foam midsole that ties into the Air Max 1’s old school vibe.
